Hywel Davies gave a resume of the situation to date in respect of the Fee Bid Assessment for the Llandeilo Road Environmental Improvement Study. After discussion, three of the five companies would be invited to present their proposals to the Forum. A total of £12,268 was available in grant allocation for the study with the possibility of additional monies from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to be announced by CCC in due course. Final costs would also include the addition of VAT. The officers kindly agreed to arrange for the presentations to take place as soon as convienient.

A substantial regeneration programme was being developed for Carmarthenshire.
Karl Richards informed the forum that he was awaiting further communication from Gwendraeth school with regard to the leaflet design.
This meeting concentrated on preparation and possible question format for the forthcoming presentations by the three preferred companies.
The three companies gave short presentations to the meeting followed by questions from the floor. A point-scoring format was followed to determine the outcome. One company emerged as the most favoured option. Dependent on further information sought on the current fee bid submitted by the favoured company, the forum hoped to award the contract as soon as practically possible.
The secretary continued to liaise with CCC during December for clarification on our possition.
