Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child sends shoe boxes to Eastern Europe in time for Christmas.
For the last two years, Cross Hands Christian Centre has led this appeal in the Cross Hands
area.
Last year, we had a tremendous response. This was due in no small measure because of the
involvement of the local primary school who adopted the appeal for themselves. This year
we anticipated less boxes as they are supporting a different charity. However, as we worked
in the church on the morning of Saturday 11th November, we received a steady stream of
visitors throughout the day. In all we had over 130 boxes! What a wonderful, warm
hearted lot you are out there! Very many thanks.
